A Christian can't be a racist. A sign of False piety.
Signs of False Piety wolves in sheeps clothing
The idea that Richard III wore his religion "on his sleeve" is a central theme in Shakespeare's play Richard III, where the king's villainy is hidden behind a false display of piety. However, historical sources suggest that Richard III was a conventionally pious medieval king, though the sincerity of his piety is a matter of debate.
In Shakespeare's telling, Richard's public displays of piety are a performance designed to manipulate others while he secretly plots their downfall.
Feigned reluctance: To convince citizens to offer him the crown, Richard has supporters stage a scene where he appears with two friars and a prayer book, suggesting he is too devout to care for worldly power. He feigns reluctance to take the throne, claiming it would take time away from his religious studies.
Convenient religious authority: Richard invokes religious authority to justify his actions when it suits him. For example, before executing his enemy Lord Hastings, Richard makes a casual oath, "by Saint Paul I swear," underscoring his hypocrisy. He also uses religious language to manipulate Lady Anne into marrying him, even as he boasts that she shows "religious reluctance".

Yes, members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) have historically considered themselves to be a Christian organization and have used Christian language and imagery to justify their white supremacist ideology. Membership for the second and third iterations of the Klan was restricted to white Protestant Christians.
However, mainstream Christian denominations overwhelmingly condemn the KKK's beliefs as fundamentally incompatible with the teachings of Jesus.
Yes, the vast majority of Confederate soldiers were Christian, primarily Protestant, and faith played a significant role in their lives and in the Confederate cause. The Confederate Constitution even invoked God's guidance, and many soldiers participated in prayer, religious services, and revivals during the war.
Prevalence: Christianity was the dominant religion in the South, and most Confederate soldiers came from a Christian background.
Incorporation into the cause: Confederate leaders and soldiers frequently used religious rhetoric to justify their cause, believing their new nation to be a Christian nation with God as their defender.
Religious services and revivals: Religious services were a regular occurrence in army camps, and the war saw large-scale religious revivals, with many soldiers converting to Christianity.
Impact on soldiers: Faith provided comfort and support to soldiers facing the hardships of war. Many soldiers prayed before and after battles and some even refused to fight on the Sabbath.
The KKK's use of Christianity
Protestant Christian nation: Particularly during its resurgence in the 1920s, the KKK positioned itself as an organization dedicated to preserving the United States as a "Protestant Christian nation".
Bible interpretations: The Klan has historically interpreted scripture through a lens of racial discrimination to justify its hateful views. Some followers adopt the "Christian Identity" theology, a white supremacist belief system that claims white people are the true descendants of the Israelites.
Religious ceremonies: Klan members have performed their own rituals, such as burning crosses. They use the burning cross as a symbol of their "white Protestant identity" and have portrayed it as a representation of "the light of Jesus" to their followers.
Ordained ministers: Some KKK leaders have been ordained ministers and have formed their own tax-exempt churches.
