Christy and Jenni Discuss The Freedom Caucus

Several months ago, I found Christy Taylor via her Substack GenXpletives (https://substack.com/@genxpletives). Some of her articles were not at all my political bend, so I made a couple of respectful comments indicating my oppositions to what she had written.

Christy answered my comments in a very respectful way and we began commenting back and forth A LOT. Though she and I don't see eye-to-eye on a number of issues, it's also amazing the things about which we DO agree.

Most of America lies between increasingly violent ends. Many Democrats just like bigger government solutions than Republicans, but aren't making statements about wanting us and our family's dead. While I will NOT offer quarter to anyone willing to express their views violently, those of us who just disagree across the isle need to figure out where we can find Common Ground because THAT'S what will win back our Democratic Republic.

The elitists want us fighting because no one wins in that scenario and they can step in with their control mechanisms and leverage us to their own ends. We have to disagree peaceably while keeping our principles intact. Both sides can do that by agreeing to disagree civilly and working to find where we CAN agree.

That's what Christy and I are trying to show here.
