SOLOMON - THE KING WHO SURRENDERED HIMSELF TO YHWH

We actually find ourselves focused on the days when king Solomon was building the temple in Jerusalem. We have been studying this divine construction project and the temple tools and all the furnishings.

Last week when we learned about the day when everything
was finally in place, including the Ark of the Covenant. Everything was carefully placed into the inner sanctuary of the temple We remember that the people of Israel began to sing the praises of the Lord. Then, we saw the proof of God's presence, God's glory was revealed when a dark cloud filled the temple.

It was at that point in time when Solomon started to pray. Now, as we consider the prayer of king Solomon, it is my hope that we will learn a little bit more about prayer.

As we consider the details of Solomon’s prayer, I believe we will gain a better understanding about the importance of prayer so that we are sure to become a people who pray.
