Smith&Wesson CSX E-Series: Is it as good as they say?

Check out the @SmithAndWessonInc CSX E-Series. This is a metal framed hammer fired micro-9. This pistol is a neat option for those of you who prefer to EDC a hammer fired, metal framed gun. This is an awesome little concealed carry option for you. Today I compared it to another great CCW pistol, the Smith & Wesson Shield Plus. Comparing these two, I personally prefer the Shield as it seems to soak up the recoil better. Now that being said this is just an opinion. The last time I checked out this pistol was my tabletop review. In that video I stated it had a double reset on the trigger. Well, my buddy, @moderndayronin3090 decided to not send it out to Smith & Wesson for repair but it seems that shooting it smoothed out that double reset. The only issued I had with it stems from mostly a design flaw in my opinion. The rear sight sits inside the optics plate, so when the plate comes loose the rear sight does as well. For this one in particular the screw would not stay seated even with lock tight and torqued down. I have not seen anyone else have that problem so it might be an issue when reinstalling the optics plate and rear sight after removing his optic. None the less the design itself is flawed as loose optics screws do happen and for you to lose your sights completely if one backs out is an issue. That all being said I did enjoy this pistol and if it were mine, I would probably install an optic and leave it be after that. It still is worth checking out if you ever get a chance though.
