AI + DMCA = The Stupidest Catch-22

With the proposed amendments to the RIAA's complaint against AI company Suno, we see the twisted logic of the DMCA: If grandma can't do it, it's a crime!

That's not only Kafkaesque, it's Pythonesque as well!

They're making the same complaint they previously made against youtube-dl, compromising the "lock" preventing the downloading of YouTube videos. But how can you pick a lock that doesn't exist?

And by their own admission, they don't want fair use to even be a defense—not even for cybersecurity researchers!
