Visiting the San Francisco Bay Model - 4k

We visited the San Francisco Bay Model in Sausalito, California.
It is run the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

For decades it was used to simulate the behavior of the water in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Many projects were tested using the model. These days, models are run on supercomputers.
But the Corps of Engineers keeps the physical model running to inform the public about its work.
