The usa is becoming more and more like china everyday, more and more US-Companies are partially state own. 10% equity stake in intel, 15% equity stake in MP materials, 10% equity stake in lithium america, etc. And usa government investment in the market (free economy) it will get to decide which business are essential and which are not, and the free market ceases to exist government will pick winners and losers this is about control, because the usa can't compete anymore in the global market. No deal with trump is trust worthy (CUSMA) still exist only because it is in the best interest of the usa and no other reason.
