Victor Davis Hanson: Chuck Schumer is 'Either Senile or Stupid' Following Shutdown Messaging Fiasco

The Democrats didn’t shut the government down just a few months ago when “they signed on to the Big Beautiful Bill,” says Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” They also knew how “unaffordable” the Affordable Care Act is.

Now you have Chuck Schumer out there using profanities and saying it’s not his party’s fault the government is shut down.

“He’s either senile or stupid. I always thought he was fairly smart, Schumer, although misguided—if that’s charitable… The polls all show that people are, in general, against the party that shuts down the government, and particularly this party.”
