Chapter 11 is a key chapter as the "Cradle of Civilization," known to us in school as the "Fertile Crescent". We see the rebellion against God's directive to spread out and fill the earth in Genesis 9:7. God and Two other Angels come to Babel to see what man is doing. Another fruitful study and the introduction of Abram, to whom God will call out of the Paganism that has blossomed in the rebellion.
