Regardless of who was infected or not. Moving forward you'll need an AI facial recognition to access the internet, food, jobs, education, etc. Become a member of the community or perish homeless in prison awaiting execution for “poisonous opinions”. Tech can be used now to channel the dead in an attempt to have access to the supernatural much like Thirteen Ghosts.
