Sermon: Ego-Losers 10-21-18

The false notion of losing one's ego, as the chief desire of enlightenment is simply one dangerous misnomer. Transcendence of the Self is something one can hope to get a glimpse of while living. But the ego informs us about who we are and tells us how to function in this world. One can no more cut out the ego as one could cut off one's head.
