Feminism Under Attack: The Paradox of Trans Activism

During a recent feminist convention in the United Kingdom, around 2,500 women were attacked amid riots led by trans activists. The broken windows and graffiti reminded many of a historical episode: the Night of Broken Glass.

Among the messages painted, some claimed that feminism “should not define what a woman is,” a statement reflecting the idea that one is not born a woman, but becomes one. This concept, inspired by Simone de Beauvoir’s philosophy, has been reinterpreted by the modern transgender movement to place gender identity above biological reality.

The new paradigm suggests that being “more of a victim” grants greater social legitimacy, creating a hierarchy where biological women are pushed aside. Historically feminist figures like J.K. Rowling are now labeled as transphobic for defending the traditional definition of womanhood.

The inevitable question arises: how can women truly protect their rights and spaces if, in today’s discourse, their very existence is being denied?
