WoFun Minis - Completion

An in-depth look at the 18mm #acw (American Civil War) #miniatures from WoFun Games. WoFun also provides a free set of #wargaming rules from Andy Callan for the ACW which I may use in the future. But for now, the minis are going to be used for playtesting of the Strategos Basic Game and Advanced Game rules by Lt. Charles Totten from 1880. I've also purchased the Polemas #civilwar rules "On They Came" which I plan to try out later. Polemas is available via Baccus minis (6mm) where you can find a free download of their campaign rules.

With shipping, all of these miniatures cost $260 USD. I'm very pleased with the results since, for me, the rules and scenarios are the "fun" part of the hobby and the miniature selection, purchasing, and painting are just things I must do to get to the fun bit. Don't get me wrong, I like doing the minis too, but it is a slow slog for my limited arts and crafts skill-level.
