The Trouble With Preterism

Preterism is a Christian eschatological view that interprets biblical prophecies, especially those related to the end times, as events that have already been fulfilled, primarily during the first century AD. The term derives from the Latin word praeter, meaning past, or gone by, reflecting the belief that the significant prophetic events, such as the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, mark the fulfillment of Jesus’ Olivet Discourse and the Book of Revelation.
