There have been many movements in the church since I started my career in ministry. We’ve had the Prosperity Movement, the Jabez Prayer Movement, the Dominion Movement, the Seeker Sensitive Movement and on and on. Now, we have the Red Letter Christian Movement. This separates the Words of Jesus from the rest of Scripture and prioritizes them as more important than the rest of the Bible. Of course, we all know the Bible is the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation, so this movement seems out of step with the whole revelation of God found in the Scriptures.
