This is a classic power ballad from the British glam rock band Slade, released in November 1983 as the lead single from their album The Amazing Kamikaze Syndrome (re-titled Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply in the US). The song was written by Noddy Holder and Jim Lea, and produced by John Punter after RCA Records pushed for a more commercial edge.
