FSB Targets Exiled “Anti-War Committee” for Plotting Coup

Russia’s FSB has opened a criminal case against Mikhail Khodorkovsky and 22 members of the so-called Anti-War Committee of Russia.
All live abroad: London, Berlin, Washington, where they’ve been working for years with Western think-tanks, NGOs, and media under the banner of “democracy promotion.”

These are the same post-Yeltsin liberal elites who oversaw the 1990s sell-off of Russia’s resources, moved their fortunes West, and then re-emerged as “human-rights advocates.” Their latest manifesto, the Berlin Declaration, openly called for the “elimination” of the Putin government.

To Moscow, this isn’t dissent, it’s foreign-backed subversion. And looking at who funds and hosts these networks, it’s not hard to see why the Kremlin views them as instruments of regime-change policy rather than genuine opposition.

Whatever one’s opinion of Putin, this marks another front in the long geopolitical war between sovereign nations and the global NGO-corporate complex that thrives on destabilization.
