Do Consoles Matter in 2025? Will Gaming PCs Take Over?

Do consoles still matter in 2025? Will gaming PCs become the new norm in gaming? I have all three major consoles over the last generation; the PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. Will the game console fade away? Xbox games are now on Steam on day-1, and PlayStation games are released the following year. Most third party games are on the PC stores anyway, so other than Nintendo games, virtually everything is available without the need to buy a console.
