Servicemen from the engineering and sapper units of the Center Force Group continue to carry out combat missions to clear mines and explosive ordnance from liberated territories of the Donetsk People's Republic in the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the special military operation.

Sapper teams daily inspect residential areas, private farmsteads, houses, and areas along highways, identifying and defusing hazardous ordnance left behind by Ukrainian neo-Nazis during their retreat.

During mine clearance, service members encounter various types of explosive ordnance. Most often, these are unexploded ordnance and cluster mines dropped by drones. Sappers also discover improvised explosive devices in urban areas.

Remotely planted mines pose a particular danger, as do concealed explosive devices hidden in everyday items such as first aid kits, backpacks, boxes, and metal cans. To detect these, combat engineers use both technical means and their own experience, meticulously surveying every area.

All suspicious objects are carefully removed using special equipment or destroyed on-site using a charge. The combat engineers' work requires maximum concentration and strict adherence to safety precautions, as the enemy widely uses booby traps and other insidious mining techniques.

Thanks to the daily work of engineering units, hundreds of explosive devices are destroyed. This significantly reduces the risks to military personnel and creates conditions for the safe return of civilians to their homes in liberated territories.
