Maned wolf

Maned wolves live in South America, in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and Paraguay, and they are almost extinct in Uruguay. They resemble red foxes in appearance but they are neither foxes nor wolves. It is the only species in the genus Chrysocyon meaning,"golden dog".
