Heroes of Might and Magic Demo - Tutorial 2 of 2 - November 2025

Heroes of Might and Magic (HoMM) Demo is an upcoming game updates the game-play and graphics of the classic HoMM series.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is this game like?

HoMM is a 4X game where players start with a hero and a castle and needs to gather resources, upgrade your castle and ultimately conquer the map defeating enemies residing on the same map.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ How does this differ from the other 4X games out there?

HoMM is turn-based like the Civilization and Master of Orion series. HoMM however incorporates magic and fantasy creatures instead of real world objects (Civilization) or space ships (Master of Orion).

~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any objectionable material?

Any excessive skin shown by female characters? No.
Gratuitous violence or excessive blood? While this is medieval combat, it is quite basic and not meant to be gory.
What about demons, zombies or other “evil” creatures? Those exist. They are part of a faction. Is this enough to avoid the game? We do not think so.

This is the demo version of the upcoming game. It is slated to be released “in 2026”. Presumably the developers need time to flesh out bugs and to balance game play. We suspect this game will be released closer to Easter than Thanksgiving.
