Why Jesus Came - Reflection on the Heart of His Mission

Before we move forward, let’s take a moment to pause and remember what we’ve learned so far. ❤️

📖 2 Corinthians 5:18 — “Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”
→ God made the first move — reconciliation begins with Him.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:19 — “In Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them.”
→ Forgiveness isn’t partial — it’s complete.

📖 Matthew 1:21 — “She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
→ Jesus’ mission was clear: to save, redeem, and restore.

📖 John 3:16 — “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
→ Love is the foundation of it all.

📖 John 3:17 — “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
→ He didn’t come to condemn — He came to rescue.

Together, these verses tell the story of God’s heart for humanity — a love that reconciles, forgives, saves, and restores.

📖 Romans 5:10 — “While we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son.”
