Keto Sausage Roll Experiment

Good day and welcome back to the channel. Today, we're doing an experiment: can we make a keto version of a sausage roll? Let's find out!

To start, we're going to just bake some bulk breakfast sausage.

Next, make up a keto "dough" (not sure what else to call this!) using a cup of powdered butter and an egg. Season that mix with some chipotle powder, some smoked paprika, some garlic powder and some onion powder. And, can't forget a little Badia's Complete Seasoning.

Mix the "dough" and let chill in the fridge while the sausage is cooking. Once the sausage is done (165 degree F internal temps), then remove from the oven and let cool.

Once the sausage has cooled, grab your dough and start wrapping!

After making sure the sausage is totally covered, place that wrapped sausage on a sheet pan and bake at 350 degrees F for ~ 20 minutes.

Once out of the oven, let cool for a minute or so and then enjoy!

This experiment worked out beautifully!
And, now I know that the next time I do this, I'll roll out the dough first.
