A Speculator's Own Spooktacular (Route 66 Mini Village Halloween Event) Speculator, New York

A mini village, called route 66,
Will be open for a Halloween event.

In the quiet village of Speculator, [shhhh...]
Lies a village that is much smaller,
In October during a dark night,
It transforms into a haunting sight. [Family Friendly]

With local history to educate you,
Plus, cider and donuts will be there too,
From 6 p.m. until at nine,
You can stop by to have a spooky time.

The gas station where many do rest,
Becomes some giant spiders' nest, [creepy]
The post office where letters dwell,
Is now a doorway into hell. [Stay away!]

The schoolhouse where lessons are taught,
By a headless teacher you'll be caught, [detention!]
The church is the next you'll go,
Where Mary Rhinelander's ghost does show. [hello]

At mini-Route 66 for Halloween.
