The World hungering for Truth & the Pope offers Bread?

Who feeds minds and souls starving for Truth? Feeding the Hunger for Understanding is also a form of Charity - most neglected today. This video reminds Pope Leo XIV’s (and modern Church’s) emphasis on material acts, asking: where is the care for the mind and soul? For man is not fed by bread alone.
In our time, Charity has come to mean only the care for material needs — feeding the poor, healing the sick, helping the suffering. This reflection asks whether the Church today — even under Pope Leo XIV — has forgotten this higher hunger.
Ernest Hello, a forgotten 19th-century French thinker, admired for his spiritual clarity, spoke of Intellectual Charity — the duty to nourish others with Truth and Light.
He calls this “Intellectual Charity”: the duty to feed those who HUNGER for TRUTH, LIGHT, and MEANING— those who are poor not in bread, but in understanding. Who is feeding them?
In this reflection, we revisit Hello’s forgotten insight and ask:
• Has the modern Church, and even the Pope’s recent Exhortation to “Charity,” reduced love to mere material aid?
• What is the Charity of the Mind — and why has it vanished from our Christian imagination?
This is a meditation for those who believe that man does not live by bread alone — that to love fully, one must love with all one’s Heart and with all one's Soul, but also with all one's mind.

Some of what I share In this channel "Interpreting Tradition", are reflections on Literature, Politics, History, Philosophy. Sometimes I read old texts out loud, and sometimes I just speak into the camera. But behind every video is the same impulse: to preserve something. To interpret what’s been handed down — carefully, honestly, and with a sense of reverence.
