My old haunted farm house, we call our home,

The freak mother ghost, Killer.

It used to have a one-room school building on the property, that burnt down, outside of the school stood a death tomb.

In a home of dreams where the shadows play,

Octavia my daughter and I was enjoying the day.

We was in the kitchen cooking up a delight,

But the whispers in the halls brought us a fright.

The tiny girls voice whispered "Mother," A ghost with hate? like no other.

We hear balls bouncing down the stairs all the time, footsteps walking back and forth upstairs when nobody was up there.

One night while we was in the farm house,

My daughter was very frantic and wouldn’t stay still, was there someone or something with ill will?

She kept saying someone was in the room with us, I kept telling her no one was there, with a look in her eyes of glare.

She wouldn’t calm down so I asked her what she saw and where,

She said "there is a small girl in her bedroom."

I said ok what does she look like,

She said “a little girl like me wearing a dirty blue pale shirt, she scares me dad, she’s black with no legs."

I said well if she has no legs how’s she walking into your room?

she said ”she’s using her hands, swinging when she moves like a monkey,”

I said oh ok and you said she's “black?”

She said no dad she's black like she's been burnt.

Many years past, when I renovated the farm house I found an old news paper, that related to a killer mother that had poisoned and burnt her own child to death.

I felt an icy cold chill on my back, could it be the freak mother watching me in glee.

One little soul, in a bitter sweet plot, drinks of poisoned milk, now time forgot.

In that haunted room, with secrets so dark, a small child stood where the killer mum left her mark.
