Trump Pushes Expansion Of Abraham Accords

US President Donald Trump expressed optimism over the expansion of the Abraham Accords, the diplomatic framework that normalized relations between Israel & several Arab states & highlighted Saudi Arabia as a key prospective participant.

Speaking in an interview broadcast on Fox Business Network, Trump said, “I hope to see Saudi Arabia go in & I hope to see others go in. I think when Saudi Arabia goes in, everybody goes in,” adding that recent conversations with willing states were very good & that more countries could join soon.

The Abraham Accords, originally signed in 2020 by the United Arab Emirates & Bahrain & later joined by Morocco & Sudan, were hailed by Trump as a miracle & a pathway to long-lasting peace in the Middle East.
