Yo what’s good y’all, today i'm talking about the latest conversation surrounding Tyler, the Creator and the backlash he’s been getting from some Black ex-fans online. The debate sparked after his fanbase — which many are calling “anti-Black” — started disrespecting Tyler’s tribute post to the late soul legend D’Angelo.

Now look, I’m not here to cancel Tyler, but let’s be real , he was wildin’ in his early days. Back in the Wolf Gang era, Tyler was 19, saying crazy things, pushing shock value, and sometimes race-baiting in his merch and videos. He was immature, no question. But it’s clear the man has grown.

Over the last few years, Tyler’s been creating more Black-inspired art, diving into soul, funk, and culture, and showing a better understanding of what racism really looks like. That growth don’t erase the past , but it shows he’s learning, evolving, and tryna do better.
