Some towns are born unlucky, and some streets are born bad. It’s 1870, and the town of Abilene, Kansas is split down the middle by Texas Street, one side lined with merchants and respectable businesses, the other side lined with nothing but tawdry saloons and houses of ill-repute. And standing between the two sides is Marshal Dan Mitchell (Randolph Scott), the only lawman who might be able to tame Texas Street – unless one of his rivaling love interests manages to tame him first!
