Darrell Dougherty reported abuse of his son and told police and the court of his son’s location. They arrested him for kidnapping and issued a million dollar bond. He appeared in court Friday and his case was continued. Don’t forget that Darrell was the chief organizer of the Payne County Grand Jury. Based on the facts of the case it appears Judge Reese yielded to political pressure by filing charges on Darrell. Plus Judge Reese terminated the grand jury. Reese called for signatures in early and then on the record claimed the court had received certified signature numbers. On the record JJ advised the judge the board never meet therefore the numbers could have not been certified. Today JJ will verify the board never meet therefore the numbers were never certified. We must included Payne County arresting and placing a Grandmother in jail for reporting abuse of her grandchild. Payne County turns a rapist loose, arrest citizens who report child abuse and then significantly misused powers to prevent a grand jury. It’s time to call out Payne County for their judicial and prosecutorial criminal misconduct.
