The Israel Deception: Part 3 - Israel’s Rejection and the True Kingdom

In this final part of The Israel Deception series, Tom Stapleton brings the words of Yeshua Himself to the forefront.
By comparing Isaiah 5’s parable of the vineyard with Yeshua’s retelling in Matthew 21, Tom shows how Israel’s leaders recognized the prophecy was directed at them—and how Yeshua declared that “the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing its fruits.”

The teaching then explores the parable of the fig tree, comparing Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Many believe that this is saying that Israel is the fig tree, and this is proof that it will return to being God's chosen people and location. However, when looking at the parable, in this instance, Yeshua was not referring to modern Israel, but rather using the fig tree as a broader symbol of end-time readiness.

Through passages like Luke 13:34–35, Hebrews 13:9–14, and John 13:31–14:6, Tom exposes the false teaching that Yeshua will reign from an earthly temple in Jerusalem. Instead, Scripture shows that when He returns, He will take His people to be with Him, meeting them “in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

The belief that a third temple must be built for His return is not from God—it is a deception preparing the way for the false messiah, who will sit in that temple claiming to be Yeshua.

Understanding this deception is paramount for all believers who seek to follow the Messiah’s own words to avoid being led astray by false understandings of what will happen at the Second Coming.
