Howard University in Washington, D.C., was the location for the Democratic campaign's election night event, as Vice President Kamala Harris is an alumna of the university. This made the campus a highly visible spot for national and international media coverage, including a live setup by CBS News. 
A moment occurred during a live broadcast by CBS when the hit 1990 song "Poison" by Bell Biv DeVoe was audible in the background. Given the high-stakes political context of election night, the choice of a song with a title like "Poison", including the line “that girl is Poison” during live network coverage of a major campaign event was perfect timing! 😂
