GIVE ME A HEART THAT CARES, LORD!

A HEART OF MERCY AND COMPASSION!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA PRECIOUS ONES!!! OMHW!!!

I truly appreciated and needed this morning’s scripture, because I have moments where I am like Jonah. I have hidden prejudices and biases. I say and do things in regarding those that are lost, that aren't honoring to God, and I have to ask God’s forgiveness. Reading this morning's passage of scripture, especially when I already read the book of Jonah itself, has really opened my eyes on how I need to set aside those preconceived notions, prejudices and biases, submit myself to the Lord, and ask Him to please help me love others like He does.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture, through this blog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you carefully listen to what I have to say. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they not only show you how much God cares, but challenge you to want to show care, love, compassion, and mercy to others.

How does it comfort you to know that God cares for you?

How will you respond to His love?

I want to challenge you guys, to really examine your hearts, and ask God to show you any areas in which you have hidden prejudices, biases, preconceived notions, or any attitude toward others that are not honoring to God, seek God's face on it and repentance and forgiveness, and start showing real Christ like love to others. I want to say this particular thing I have said before, and I pray that you get this through your heads. The gospel is for everyone! That means we don't restrict, limit, or segregate in who we share the gospel with. It also means that we as followers of Jesus learn to show love, compassion, and mercy, all those we encounter, even those that disagree with us. That God cares about everyone, even the LGBTQ person, drug addict, alcoholic, leftist, atheist, and anybody that suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. We need to remember that as James Banks said so well, “God’s so great that he's able to care deeply for those who are far from Him. His love goes to the lengths of the cross and empty tomb of Jesus to meet our ultimate need. His greatness manifests itself in goodness, and He longs to draw us near.” Let's stop interfering with that and start showing this lost world we care!
