AMAZON AWS had its menstrual cycle today.

When I first started diving into exploring IT as a possible career I fed into the hype like everyone else and then I seen that companies were ditching in house IT people left and right who maintain access to a website and their internal networks so I realized that wasn't going to be the career choice.

I have been saying it for years that putting it all in the cloud is a bad idea. Did anyone listen? No. If anything I was dismissed, laughed at, called every name in the book and told to go back to school. Every company and government that has put it all in the hands of someone else to manage that they will never meet now has egg on their face and to that I say "I told you so." In the past I have been called an "asshole" for my stance on being "anti cloud" and today I can proudly say that I'm a correct asshole.
