Road Cafe Simulator | A Roadhouse Dining Experience

My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a new Restaurant Game called Road Cafe Simulator on the PlayStation
This game was developed and published by Nostra Games, who also released the excellent mining simulation game called Hole Digging Master which I've also reviewed

Road Cage Simulator places the player in the role of a new Roadhouse Owner who has started business in a bustling town. Your goal is to provide quality meals to the local population, increasing your reputation and improving your food preparation skills. The game starts the player off with simple meals like fried eggs, moving on hot dogs and sandwiches. Each meal is assembled by hand, with the player required to add sauces, spices and drinks to fulfill customer requests. With each successful order youll gain access to a wider variety of food and drinks, increasing your customer base and allowing you to assemble more complex meals. Each day you'll swap between cooking meals and preparing your cafe for trade, and then fulfilling customer orders within a strict time limit, requiring players to carefully prepare for each day by optimizing their kitchen and food supplies

While i enjoyed playing through Road Cafe Simulator, particularly the food preparation process, the game didn't quite measure up to Nostra Games previous title Hole Digging Master. The game is a little short on content, there is a narrow range of meals to prepare and very little in the way of business upgrades and expansion, which does impact the game replayability. Plus the game is a little on the pricey side at $20 Australian, so if your looking to pick up this game I highly recommend waiting for it to go on sale.
