- Can you truly love yourself if you don't truly know yourself?
- Self-respect and shadow work involve getting to you yourself more. Self-knowledge. Know thyself.
- Can you love someone (philos, eros) if you don't know anything about them? How much can you really love someone if you don't know them? How much if you don't know them well? You "love" the appearance, the surface level, because you don't know the deeper substance of the person, who they really are.
- How much can you love or care for yourself if you don't know yourself well, if you haven't done enough shadow work, if you haven't gained self-knowledge this way?
- Most people don't even know who they are themselves. They can say they care and love themselves, but it's a surface level of appearances more than it is deep substantial love or care.
- You have to know what you are doing, which is a reflection of your current state of being. What are you doing? Do you know what you're doing? As in, is it moral or immoral?
- How can they truly know themselves, when they don't even know if what they are doing is moral or not, which reflects from their state of being moral or immoral. They do or support evil/immorality and think the opposite. They don't know themselves.
