Serial: Buck Rogers. 1939

A blizzard catches Lieutenant Buck Rogers and Buddy Wade mid-transpolar dirigible trip, causing them to crash. After that, Buddy unleashes a unique gas that will put them in suspended animation until help can come. But the airplane is covered by an avalanche, and the two are left in suspended animation for five hundred years. When they awake, they discover that Killer Kane's renegade army has taken over the planet. Buck, Buddy, and Lieutenant Wilma Deering all join the fight to topple Kane, and with the help of Prince Tallen of Saturn and his army, they succeed, and Kane's hold on Earth is lifted.
