↪ Night 30: Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy
Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy finally does away with Tana leaves and pervy priests and simply lampoons the familiar plot of an ancient princess Ananka and her mummified protector Kharis, now Ara and Klaris, whose sect of followers seek to protect them from a group of treasure hunters, something about a medallion hiding the secret location of an ancient tomb, a dangerous curse, and none of it matters, because we’re too busy having fun with Abbott & Costello who also have no idea what’s going on either. Then they throw some dynamite at the mummy AND HE DIES! And then they turn the tomb into a night club, which is simply amazing.
