Always one sided

Why is it that the liberal left alway has the good for me not for thee mentality, the last I looked the constitution and the laws applied to us all.
But as always in true fashion the liberal left feels like they are the ones that are protected by the constitution when in fact they are engaging in unlawful activity by the wording in said constitutional amendment they are citing protects them, then they turn around and claim conservatives that are engaging within the wording of said constitutional amendment is unlawful.
We see the good for me not for thee rhetoric time and time again.
