The Next Step for DC After Warner Bros. Sale | James Gunn Getting Replaced?

With the looming sale of Warner Bros Discovery, and by extension DC, many are speculating on the fate of James Gunn since the franchise has not been well under his leadership.

The only major project James Gunn has been responsible for have been Creature Commandos, Peacemaker, and Superman. All of these projects have seemed to have fallen flat with Superman being particularly egregious. It’s possible the new owners will continue to keep James Gunn onboard, but others think a new executive will be given the reigns of the DCU where it could continue with what Gunn started, or maybe launch the franchise again.
