Is this much force really necessary? I saw one of them banging his head on the ground — that’s a bit much. It doesn’t look like the police are in any danger, but the man on the ground is in danger of being beaten to death.

This is how avoidable deaths happen — when tempers take over instead of training. If you can’t stay in control, maybe it’s time for a break or some serious retraining. You’re supposed to serve and protect, not brutalize.

Unless this man harmed a child, raped someone, or did something truly horrific, this level of force is way too much.
