I Went to the 2025 Central Region PRS Finale. It Was Rough!!

Well, I made it to the 2025 PRS Central Region Finale match. This is the story of that. It was rough on me!! Long drive, long match, poor performance, but I got a hat!! haha.
I am glad that I attended this. It really gave me some things to pay attention to and got some tips on ways to work on some more stuff this coming year.
I drove down the night before intending to get a little more sleep than last trip down, but that did not really work out. Probably got less sleep, lol.
But I made it to the range and checked my speeds. Things were faster than expected a good bit. That played with my head for the majority of the match I think. When I missed, I assumed I was going too fast and went over the top. Finally, after the 7th stage, I was told that I had been hitting low!!
Corrected that the next stage and went 9 out of 10, best score of my squad!
So, after a terrible performance for the first 7 stages, I pulled it together and had some really good runs for the last 3 stages.
104 total rounds possible. I was a little short, as I timed out on a few stages. But, it was a wild a day overall. Storms, heat, rain, lightning, cold, it was just about everything. There was even hail coming in, but that missed us, thankfully!

I hope you enjoy my story of the event. Next time, I will need someone to come with me to film. I was out of sorts and setting up cameras was low priority, I admit.

I did redeem myself the next day at our local match. Check in next week to find out how that went!! I was pleased with myself for that, especially being on less than 6 hours of sleep for over 48 hours!
