🌪 Throwback: Doctor injects himself with HIV-infected blood

➡️ Dr. Robert Willner was so firmly rooted in his belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that in October 1994 he publicly injected himself with the blood that ostensibly came from a person infected with HIV.

➡️ While Willner apparently tested negative to AIDS in the weeks following this injection, he passed away due to a heart attack in April 1995.
