Have your emotions ever overwhelmed you and confused the way that you trust God? Jesse explains that faith works in the heart, it doesn’t work in the head. Why? Because it’s beyond intellect. Faith doesn’t have anything to do with your intellect because the intellect looks for proof. Faith doesn’t have to be proven, it just has to be believed. What can mess it up sometimes is emotion or emotional distress. Emotional outbursts can limit God and cause you to not keep His Word. That is when you are going by your soul and not by your spirit.
