Echo Zulu Defense sent me their Atom and Atom Light to test — 3D-printed titanium rimfire suppressors that are unbelievably light and versatile. I ran them on pistols and rifle hosts and put them through the wringer: rated from .17 HMR through 5.7x28, with an internal hBN (hexagonal boron nitride) coating to minimize friction and reduce fouling. The outside gets a durable DLC finish so they stay looking sharp long-term.

Quick specs
Models:
Atom weight 2.2oz, length 5.5'', 1" diameter
Atom Light weight 1.7oz, length 3.5'', 1" diameter
Material: 3D-printed titanium (super lightweight)
Caliber rating: .17 HMR → 5.7x28
Internal coating: hBN (hexagonal boron nitride) — reduces friction, limits buildup, simplifies cleaning
External finish: DLC — long-term durability and scratch resistance

Best use: rimfire pistols and rifles; also works on small PD calibers up to 5.7x28
Why I like them
Ridiculously light — doesn’t upset the balance of pistols or lightweight rifles
Cleaner internals thanks to hBN — makes maintenance easier after shooting dirty .22s
Tough exterior finish — holds up to hard use and handling
Versatile across a wide range of small calibers

Cleaning tip
Let the suppressor cool, then brush lightly and use a solvent safe for titanium. The hBN coating helps reduce stubborn carbon so you’ll spend less time deep-scrubbing compared to untreated cores.
