👉 The office of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has labeled the proposed settlement annexation bills as a "provocation" by the opposition.

🔴 Earlier, the Knesset approved the first reading of a bill to extend Israeli sovereignty over all West Bank territories.

🔴 The vote on annexation was a deliberate political provocation by the opposition, aimed at sowing discord during US Vice President JD Vance's visit to Israel.

🔴 Before departing Israel, Vance called it a "strange and foolish political stunt" and reminded that the Trump administration's policy was clear: the West Bank territories should not be annexed by Israel.
