Video 581 Micro-Management of employees leads to turnover:
1. I really struggle to see why companies don’t train their management staff on how NOT to micro-manage employees.
2. This has been going on since the 80s and it has never been effective.
3. Hire people that you trust to do the job. If you don’t think they can perform the role like an adult, why did you hire them in the first place?
4. Also, wouldn’t all that micro managing time be better spent training and developing the employees to be more successful on their own?
5. Ultimately it falls to the company to train their managers. If they don’t, and your people leave, you have no one to blame but yourself.
