Rostech is conducting the certification flight tests of Ilyushin IL-114-300 in Altai Republic

Rostech is conducting the certification flight tests of the Ilyushin IL-114-300 aircraft in the Altai Republic.

During one of the test flights, the IL-114-300 covered the route from Gorno-Altaisk airport to Baikonur and back.

"The IL-114-300 aircraft is in the final phase of certification tests. A wide cooperation of enterprises under the aegis of Rostec is working on this project. We are checking navigation modes, primarily over mountainous areas, evaluating the aircraft on international routes, its operational characteristics at off-base airports. The aircraft is successfully passing the tests, and we will soon complete our work in Altai" – said Daniil Brenerman, Executive Director of PAO “IL”.
