using literature to disagree without animosity

This video is a bit different than my last two vlog-ish videos in that here I speak directly about using using art / literature to disagree with fewer contentions. Yes, I understand this concept breaks down after a point, but it is still useful. If we use art or literature to talk about an issue, perhaps social issue, then the discussion stays on the literature instead of shouting at each other. For instance if I ask someone to read a book about spotting dishonesty and we disagree with it then the disagreement may focus on the book than about each other's values. Of course the discussion is always about values but this strategy helps alleviate the burden of pointing at someone else with contention for have different views than our own.
