Deathsmiles I & II (Arcade)

Deathsmiles is a popular side-scrolling bullet hell shoot 'em up series developed by the Japanese studio Cave. Known for its gothic horror themes, cute "Angel" protagonists, and challenging gameplay, it is a well-regarded title in the shoot 'em up (shmup) genre. The game's plot is set in the fantasy world of Gilverado, where players choose one of several "angels" to fight against an invasion from hell. The game's sequel is known for its Christmas theme and shift to using 3D polygon graphics. It is set during a "festive nightmare" on Christmas Eve. Players battle against an antagonist named "Satan Claws" and his minions.
